I would be pissed

I managed a 8.2 at Irwindale and 13.3 at Fontana in the heat. It is like people say Dynos don't mean anything they are just a tuning tool and to see if the mods you installed helped. The real measure is the track.

Also, the 408 was built with boost in mind so it has a 9:1 cr and I am running stock exhaust manifolds and stock intake/box. The numbers were from a load bearing dyno(Mustang and DynoDynamics) not a DynoJet.

If there were wheel spin, there would be a dip in the graph instead of a spike.

Well, that is not bad for a 5.3, maybe i will dyno my 5.3 when it is done, i am shooting for 350 RWHP or so, not that it will reflect what the track times look like, but in a 86 TA with a stall and a larger cam, it will be fun. I really want to know what the little 325 is capable of with cam only, but i am cheating, using a carb. Unfortunately the shorty headers i will be using will hold back a bit, but i am chopping the collectors off for 3 inch pieces to do what i can to retain the ability to get the exhaust out as much as possible.

I agree! The Dynodynamics dyno In colorado springs is way down on power from the other dynos in town. The only real gauge of HP is the mph at the track, but that's hard too when you are talking trucks, vs cars, 2wd vs awd/4wd etc.
