my next mod would be the CAM, i searched the forum and went clueless i dnt know what to choose now. Comp Cams would be the cam i would go for i want something that would help the bottom end without sacrificing the top end. what do u think of this one http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp%20Cams/24...51-11/10002/-1
that is a baby cam..u wont like that to much. These 3 cams are pretty popular here on pt..

i do not know any of the factory specs. Of course it would be better if you got a bigger stall but u will be fine with a stock stall you just wont get to the powerband as quickly as you would with a higher stall.

on the older iron block 5.3L that was rated in the 285-295 range the stock specs are 190/191@.050 with .466/.457" lift. I'm not sure what the lobe seperation angle was though. Somewhere around 114-116 would seem right.

Dyno jets read higher numbers so you can still squeeze out plenty more rwhp. The dyno i was on reads real low.
I'm running the middle cam of those links and haven't lost a lot of bottom end. It's a real good cam. Besides, if you want to get it back just put some gears in. Doesn't hurt your mpg as much as you think.
