its because of the stock tube and manifold, they can't flow enough to keep climbing after 5200-5500 rpms. especially in 6.0's and 370's.

I don't know about this. Has anyone been able to give any conclusive evidence to how many CFM the factory airbox will flow when left alone?

At least we finally got numbers!! Good or bad. I really would have expected better through the man trans? Ditch the stock airbox! It's got to be killing you.

I don't know about the airbox hurting or not but i am still running the stock intake.
My ECSB has a 6.0l lq4 with a TR220/220/112 and with a stock lq4 tune it put down 350/356 and held the power til 6700rpms. With only a 11hp drop from peak which was at 6100rpms.
Is the problem the airbox? IDK but at least you got some nice tq....
