Default AFR headed 418 going on the dyno friday

Here is the run down:

418ci
11.14 - 1 cr
72cc AFR 225 heads with light weight intake valves
Weisco piston set in the hole for a 300+ shot of N20 (rings gapped accordingly)
Custom 245/260 .646/.629 Hyd cam
Super Victor (Box stock)
NX 2 stage plate
4150 to dominator adapter
Dominator TB
EWP
Edelbrock 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with HVMC (I know I need bigger)
4L80E
4500 rpm verter (that's where it was flashing with the toqueless little 347, lock up showed almost 10% slip )
4.56 gears
315/60/15 drag radial

For comparison sake, this is what the little 347 looked like with all the same bolt ons: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...7-results.html

I will update with results..

If it runs close to the ET in my sig on motor, I'll be happy. That was the 347 on a 100 hit. As far as with the bottle.. Not sure exactly what to expect. I'm sure it will be a lot of figuring out..

i take it you srtill drive this truck like a daily? reason i ask cause of the cr 11:1 ? why not more compression? or is that reasonable for the nitrous youre wanting to shoot to it?

damn i sound like a freaking newb lol

I do drive it, but that wasn't really the reason for the lower compression. I was originally going to use my old heads (853's with port work and 62cc heads), But I decided I wanted to go through the 347 completely including the heads and put it in my 73 Camaro once it's done just to get some seat time. The Camaro had a 8.5cr 347 with these AFR heads on it as the car is getting a 91mm turbo. A buddy blew his stock shortblock and bugged me to sell him the low compression shortblock. That sort of funded the 418 shortblock. Makes sense.. It would have been closer to 12.5 cr if memory serves me.

thanks, yes makes alot of sense lol nothing wrong with helping a buddy out plus getting what you wanted,418 well helping fund it anyway.. personally i like the 12:5:1 cr i was looking at 11:8 on my 408 im building, i have daily drove a 12:5 and there wasnt any issues... once again thanks, as i was just currious

No problem.. If the heads were 62cc heads, they'd be on the motor
