when i had my superchips max microtuner, my truck dynoed 256rwhp. that was with just a cai and the 87oct tune. i don't have a before the programmer dyno run to compare it to, so i can't say how much i really gained.

I spent 400.00 on a hand held tuner which only made a slight difference, than a did the 6.0 swap so that was useless and then spent (2)150.00 on a mail order tune because the dealer reflashed my PCM. I then got it custom dynoe tuned and have ~350.00 in that tune as well, so all together I have spent ~1050.00 in tuning over the last 2 years. Do your self a favor and either get a custom tune locally that wont charge you much for updates, or get your own tuning software such as HP tuners. There are mucho people on this board that can send you files and offer help that you may need and you will be able to log your runs and nail it down.

Forget the hand held, get a dyno tune or a mail order.
