Well you loose that power with a stall, where as a stock one doesnt flash as much and loose power

Stall converters do not loose power.. I think you should go read up a bit on what stall converters do.. if anything they multiply torque at the line,roll, etc.

Less wheel RPM = less wheel horsepower.

How would a stall loose power over a stall if they are both locked in gear?

i guess you call it convertor slip.
A stock stall will not slip as much yeilding higher numbers.
Say a 9.5 3600 stall will slip more and be looser causing slightly lower numbers
Also a stock stall will have more mph or topend VS a loose aftermarket.

Locked up i think they would dyno the same because its locked no slip unless clutch diameter plays a roll..i think a stock 12 inch stall will have a bigger clutch area vs a 9.5 aftermarket stall

Didnt mean you will loose power it will so less but when it flashes it will show more tq.

No track times tracks closed for winter here already!

Kinda have to dissagree here.. my ss3600 trapped higher then my 278mm circle d.by 1mph
