Well I just got my truck back from a local shop after getting them to install the cam and injectors and dynotune the truck. My truck is a 200 chevy silverado with a 5.3L v8. The mods so far are: Pacesetter ceramic coated LT headers with the ORY pipe, k&n air intake, comp cams 224/224 581/581 cam on a 112lsa, 8.1L injectors. The truck made 244.2hp and 263.9tq back in march with only headers, k&n intake, and a dynotune. My truck put down 277hp/271tq after the cam swap and dynotune. These numbers were put down on a mustang dyno too. Let me know what you think.

 

A gain of 33hp with the cam is about right. MD's seem to read a little lower than others. Congrats!

 

sounds kinda low...mine made 297 with a 212/218 lowlift...on a mustang dyno

It has the stock stall for now.

 

my tr224 made around that on a mustang dyno..my comp 212 218 made more than the tr224

 

what's the lift on that comp cam compared to the TR? btw, nice freakin sig.

 

comp 212 218 .522 .529 on a 114 lsa i think and the tr224 is 224 224 .566 .566 on a 112 i think also..been a while since i had them...dozerdan made my sig pic..hit him up..
