Dyno # for the 8.1l
400whp, 440wtq with a 200hp shot 547whp, 618wtq.
I'm surprised the TQ is that low, on the stock long block with a comp cam I made 322whp, 433wtq with n2o 501whp, 618wtq. That and the dyno sheet shows hp and tq crossing at 4500rpm. I thought it always crossed at 5200rpm.

TieRod, is it possible that your scales for HP/TQ are different whereas one side may read in intervals of 50 for hp and TQ in intervals of 100, therefore making them cross at an RPM different than 5252?
But yes, HP/TQ will always cross at 5252 RPM.

Yea I'm assuming thats whats going on. The sheet only has HP marked on one side. By the looks of it I need to move my shift points from 5300rpm to 5700rpm. On the stock cam it was done at 4500rpm. With the comp cam 5200rpm and when I first time I had this engine running 5300rpm was it. We got with comp to find a spring that would let pull higher in the rpm range. Looks like it worked.
