My opinion is that the trans is probably fine. With that much torque I wouldn't be running on the dyno with the converter locked. Maybe with a triple disc 10.5" PI converter, but even then you're stretching it. That's just like on a manual trans car, most expensive stage 2 and 3 clutches have a hard time with not slipping with that 800+ftlbs of flywheel torque.

Still wish I had an L33...

i had an issue last time out with my converter, if you listen to the vid you can hear it rev up to about 6k rpms then drop down to about 5600 then up to about 6600 and then it shifts

here is the vid and here is a log

i have since sent it in and had it re stalled becasue it had a looser stator in it , this is from tcs, now its in and running and just not stalling high enough . so im going to order a 9.5 triple disc from pi 3200 stall

know that I think about it I was having that same isse but mine was dropping down to about 3500 then back up to shift...
