It's about the same here today but the weather changes so unpredicibly I can't count on a cool afternoon. It can be 70* one day and 98* the next, ya know? I am too busy with my bike club during the summer anyway. A nice 68* fall day works for me!

I don't know what "well over" 900ft/lbs means but if your making 754ft/lbs at the wheel and have 20% drivetrain loss your looking at 945ft/lbs at the crank(converter) and if your seeing 25% drivetrain loss your right around 1000 ft/lbs at the crank(converter). In any case your at the limit of that converter.

My truck is nothing as all out as Parish's but I'll take that as a sincere comlpiment.

As I think about it, I never intended to make this much power, I just came to PT.net to get it running good Now look at what you made me do!

If this weather holds up I will be making a pass or 2 at the track in 2 weeks.

so you are actually counting the converter flash torque spike as actual peak torque? thats not very realistic....you know that right?

It would not be that much of a spike if the convertor was able to hold it the rest of the way. You will see there is maybe a 20ft lb spike and there is still a graph that continues only until the convertor clutch wont hold anymore.

it spikes for about 750rpm, then drops to 600ft lbs. am i missing something here? thats not real world, to the pavement, torque. cool for telling your friends that your truck makes 750 ft lbs though i guess.

Torque spike's are fairly common for nitrous from what I've ever seen. It would do the same on the street or track.

His bottle was not full also. Had issues with that as well.

welcome back IMD...

Who the heck really cares about the dyno numbers anyway. They are only to compare gains from the mods made and used as a tool for tuning. Notice I have not changed the numbers in my sig? The track is where I measure against other trucks.

btw it is still over 500 ftlbs at near 6000 rpm
