Power seems low- SpoolinChevy made only ~40WHP less with a stock 4.8 with just 6psi from a 62-1.

well I dont know what to say then lol. I havent really seen many stock 5.3s push these numbers I guess. Power started to fall off on the 67 the closer it got to 6k. Injectors were about maxxed out as well. So yeah

Actually SpoolinChevy dynoed those numbers with 4.6#s of boost on his stock 4.8. So maybe his dyno read high? Im not sure.

i only made 360 on mine with 6 lbs. I think dyno differences can make stuff read weird.

Why the fuel rails?

I get really paranoid with things, and since I wasnt able to actually see how hard the fuel pump was working or actually is working now, I asked allen what would be a good way to alleviate some of the pressure being put on the fuel pump, and he said a bigger rail with a bigger crossover is a cheap mod to do. I dunno it was just an idea

My 5.3 with 6psi made 460/517 (60lb injectors at 52%)

On that much boost, #1, your flirting with disaste stock pistons, #2, it should make WAY more power, I was shooting for over 500rw on 9psi... I had a nitrous cam, that was really wrong for the setup too, so I don't think that was helping much.... Front mounted MP T-70

Just a comparison...

Maybe it is a timing issue? Was this on a Mustang Dyno?

Yeah I told him to back it off a little because of the duty cycle on those 42lb inj. I guess the nitrous cam is better than stock cam though. So I can see those numbers being that high, and with 52% DC, im sure your mind was at ease lol. Wish mine was. but Yeah MP70 with 60lbers is next on my list.

Timing was a partial issue, he could only do so much before. He was showing me the maps and so forth, I kind of understood what he was showing me at the time, but now its somewhat lost me. I know that on the dyno he was pulling 23 degrees or he was at 23 degrees. I cant remember so take what you may with that last sentence. I just vaguely have a photo image of looking at his laptop. No this wasn't on a mustang dyno. I forgot the name of it, because I asked him about it and what it would compare to, and he said this dyno doesnt inflate numbers like others does.
