getting the truck dyno'd finally
Well, I've been to the track plenty of times but now I'm getting it dynotuned this coming wednesday over at G-Force. I've setup a deal with Mike where he's gonna show me a little how to tune using the w/b setup. I'm running a mid-high 14 consistently so I really have no idea what power I'm putting down. Mike's convinced me to go nitrous, so we'll see where that goes
Based one what I've seen I shouldn't put more than 280 to the ground?
Anyways, here's the mod list, yall guess what it'll put down;
5.3 LM7, K&N FIPK, LT's, ORY w/cats, 160 stat, HPT.

Are you going to be using your C02 system??? on your intake?? With out it you should be around 275hp but with it you might see 290hp??
Keep us posted. I want to see how much it helps.

naw, c02 system is out of the truck for the dyno. I wanna get some good base numbers and tuning for everyday driving. The c02 was cool, but the tune made it a lil bumpy low end b/c of all the timing issues. I know I could have fudged around with the IAT adder some more, but the gf/business/school don't let me play much anymore lol.
plus, I was seeing some funky KR down low.

naw, it's going on the dyno wednesday. I'm pretty pumped.
btw, those new chrysler 300C's with the 6.1 hemi. holy crap they have some power to the wheels. they had one on the dyno when I made my appt. the other day and with just CAI and a handheld tuner it's getting 387 at the wheels.

yeah they do. the CAI made it really loud. they've got some pretty sick cars up at g-force. Wish I had more money lol.
should I video the dyno? I know it's not going to be anything amazing whatsoever, but kinda want to document stuff for the future.

Well, I'm quite pleased actually. 282rwhp and 298rwtq
Basically my mission today was to see how well the tune I've been doing with HPTuners was working. It was kinda nice to know that for not ever hooking up a wideband my a/f was peg on. Mike was kinda surprised that I had it down that good. My timing was perfect, so was my a/f. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Mike was happy too b/c he didn't even have to do anything haha. Anyways, here's the scan from this mornin. Next mod is the underdrive pulley and nitrous.
