Why does almost every dyno place print a graph with MPH and not RPM!?!?

this dyno run is with the new tbss inake, nick williams 92mm tb, and 92mm nitrous outlet plate(on the intake only not running yet)

new vs old intake



best on stock intake and 78mm tb



best on new intake

Still seems low to me and im sure im not the only one thinking that.

Cam only 5.3's with LT's, CAI, and tune are putting down 320+

How much timing are you running?!

Who cares about dyno sheets. If it runs the number, that's all that matters. Dyno sheets are for paper airplane contests.

I bet the truck hauls ***

I agree that dyno numbers aren't everything. But they are a guideline to performance gains/upgrades.

If it was my truck with all that work done to it and there was a guy with a cam 5.3 putting down more power I'd be pissed. I bet the 5.3L putting down more power would run better than this cam 6.0 also.


Im just saying that something isn't right. Im trying to help the guy figure it out.

next time get the guy to print it based on RPM. any way that you could get a WOT scan of your truck? these numbers seem pretty low.

seriously low considering my 6.0 build with stock pump/injectors and 241 heads ran 322hp running out of fuel at 5200. That was 221 Lunati cam, 3.73 gears and a 4L80...
