So, I will ask again. What have you accomplished with YOUR truck on drag radials George? I don't care to hear stories about what somebody else you know, or read about on the internet. Talk is cheap. Put up or shut up.
i posted up a truck i put together and made passes in on a 315 radial

as for my silverado it hasnt made a pass in over 3 years as its currently under a full out build and is being setup to work on radials

now i posted a slip of a truck on a 315 radial with just rolling into throttle netted a 1.50, anyone in the posting done the same?

I think his point really was on a chevy truck chassis. I dunno the difference between a ford and chevy chassis.

I own both and have built both...hell my silverado has lightning coil springs and my lightning has silverado front shocks on it
They are very similar

They might be very similar i cant argue that because i honestly dont know. But are they the exact same? Since you seem to be the only one referencing lightnings that does not help a chevy dominated site.

Nothing is exact but they could be cousins....same suspension setup works for both...weight is very similar

Hell could mount my LS motor in the fords frame using ford mounts or vise versa

A rcsb lightning or ford would share more suspension setup with a rcsb silverado then a extracab silverado would

What gear should I have it in? Still up in the air about locking the converter. Any other suggestions or input?
Have you always ran the br8ef's?
