by the way do you have the 5.3 2.5s or the stage 2.5 LS6s?

I wonder how they compare to the stage 1 ls6's I've got.

probably pretty close. mine have bigger valves and smaller combustion chambers.

I would have gone with the 5.3s on mine, but the compression is too much on the street with an LQ9.

So, I guess the real question is...how long are you going to be happy with this, and what mod is next??

i don't have any plans yet. my goal when i bought the truck was 400 to the wheels. it's a blast to drive and surprises people. engine wise the only thing i may do is a custom cam. but who knows, i do have a l92 truck intake in the shed. seems like a 100 dryshot would be the next cheapest and funnest mod. i have a buddy at work in a regular cab with a blower that i wouldn't mind giving a hard time.

too bad the power falls off around 6k.

Very nice. I've been waiting to see a dyno run from a setup like this. Did they mill the heads at all?
