What's up everyone! Quick update, picked up a (pre '09 I believe) TBSS intake and a 92mm TB. Made my first PTFE fuel lines, what a pain in the a** that is but very worth knowing it won't fail. Used the little olive bushing style you have to feed under the stainless, very tight. Also picked up a 3" MBRP flow-through style exhaust and got rid of the chokemaster. Really feel a difference already pre-tune with it.

I also found out the tuner was using SAE numbers instead of STD which I'm told is what most DynoJet tuners use, when he switched the sheet over to STD it made 327hp/340tq. Shooting for 350whp+ when I go back, I think the exhaust has already gotten me most of the way there. I can't get through 1st gear no matter what I do now, I'll blow the tires off or the trans will shift early if I'm not WOT, need to adjust that a bit. Spinning into 2nd is fun though

@RedXray can probably confirm the intake year.

Yes you have the 2008 or earlier, that simplifies the MAP & PCV.

Where they in a different position on the later intakes?

2009+ use a different MAP sensor and hold down. You can't run the later MAP on a Gen3 without scaling the tune. The intake MAP hold down is different too so mounting the early MAP can be an issue. The 2009+ intake does not have the PCV nipple... you have to buy the GM nipple hose assembly to make it work. The older intakes all you need is a piece of hose for the PCV.

Newer TBSS without the PCV nipple

Early Intake with PCV nipple and correct Gen3 MAP port/hold down

I'm guessing you never got a chance to redyno and see if any of the changes helped?

Hey 86... I did get a new 3" exhaust, TBSS intake mani, 92mm TB, new fuel setup. Haven't dyno'd it yet... haven't had time for it tbh. I did get a quick retune and it's got a ton more grunt, top end feels about the same. I want to get the fuel pump done before I spend the money to spin it again. I will update when I get a video, I hate half threads.
