I'm having problems keeping my plug wires from popping off. Anyone have any tricks or tips for keeping plug wires on the spark plugs? I've already made up 3 new wires to replace some burnt ones and those are popping off. Ugh!
Also in HPT, is it the scanner that can tell you which cylinders aren't firing, and if so what box/table is it that tells me which cylinder is not firing?

Yes it is the scanner. Log your current misfire counts for each cylinder. Should be under engine diagnostics.

current misfire and misfire history is also useful....you will go over the 24bit limit but refresh rate isnt as important when logging misfires.

Gen 4 ECMs FTW. They'll take 40+ bits and have no drop in resolution

I assume so. Ability to log a lot of PIDs isn't that much incentive to swap to a new harness, although it does make tuning much easier. I use a single config file for almost everything lol.

Congrats on getting the truck running right! For the plug wires...after you have pushed the wire onto the plug try squeezing the boot a little bit to make a gap to let trapped air out. If you can listen closely you will hear some air pressure escaping. If that pressure is trapped in there it may be helping to pop the wires off. Same is true for the coil side.
