Your statement is bs cause 10 in an extended cab are not easy. Thunder550,2004sss, and myself have been close and we were at at 700 plus hp.

I wonder what yall are doing wrong considering skeet ran 11.83 with a n/a 6.0 extended cab.

What you don't get is that it takes more HP exponentially the faster you get. It's not a smooth 100hp=.xxx fater 1/4 mile.

At 625hp I make the 1/4 mile in 11.34 seconds with a race weight of ~5,000lbs. To run 10's I would need quite a bit more than 34hp.

I agree with the OP's statement, I think he'd be in the 11.6-11.8 zone just because it falls sooner than the higher turning GM engine.

I'm talking about a 2wd extended cab that weigh ~4500lbs. Not to mention your truck isn't exactly setup for all out track times. I could add lower gears and a bigger converter, smaller wheels and easily shave off three tenths without adding any HP

Spending money on hp instead of traction was my biggest downfall. Do you have any personal input from actual experience you can enlighten us with to go fast.

I weigh in at 5500# with me in it and i think you are right on the money as far as my 1/4 mile times. I don't have 1/4 mile strip nearby so it was a guess.
