New Dyno Numbers 2008 Roushcharged F150
Well, I finally had time to take my truck and put it on the dyno at PSI Motorsports in Webster, TX, and have the guys there get it all tuned up. Final numbers were 395/466, it ended up picking up 20hp and 30ft-lbs over the previous tune I had in the truck. I'm pretty happy with the final numbers considering all the truck has is a smaller pulley to run 9 pounds of boost and now a good tune. Stock numbers were 332/385, so it was a pretty significant gain with the extra 4 pounds of boost and a good tune in the truck. They were also able to raise the shift points to 5500 and left them open so I can adjust as needed at the track, the old tune had me shifting out of 1st at 4900. I'm hoping I'll be able to hit 12's at the shootout in April, so we'll see how it goes. I will also post the video tonight after I have time to put it together. If it doesn't hit 12's, then I guess I'll have to break down and do long tubes and a full exhaust WITH cats ofcourse to stay legal.

I don't know if 395whp is gonna get that boat in the twelves. My lightning was making in the 390's and I only got 13.20's and it weighed right at 5000lbs w/ driver. Fords are built trucks. Heavy takes more power to move. I wish you luck.
Hopefully you will hit twelves....

Well shifting at 4900 instead of 5500 where it should be on the old tune it ran low 13.80's on drag radials, so I'm hoping the extra power and 600 revs before it shifts will help considerably. Not to mention down low is where it really picked up power, so hopefully I can finally get a 60ft under 2.0. I realize it's probably not gonna happen, but that's my goal with this truck and I feel it will be close depending on the weather. Plus, the quicker I hit that goal, the quicker I can quit spending money on the truck and go out and buy a new 5.0 Mustang to tow behind it.
