[QUOTE=kbracing96]Here's mine, Pretty happy with if for being a stock motor and only 7 lbs of boost. Although I need to find a load bearing dyno, as this dyno wouldn't load it hard enough tho build boost in the lower rpm as you can see in the graph. I thinh the funny thing in the graph is when the torque converter locked. Tune was pretty good (safe), EFILive showed A/F around 11.6-11.8 and was running about 17.5-18* of timing.

those are some great #s for that 4.8! GEN 3 ENGINES RULE!

Somewhere around 365 rwhp / 410 rwtq. Take a look at my AFR's....way way rich. I think she's got something close to 390 in her if I can get the tuning right.

Hopefully Kyle and Todd will post up shortly too.

Great showing guys!

Thunder550, you've got a lot left in yours I know for sure. There isn't much difference in my old set-up and yours accept for you have a 5.3 and I had a 4.8. I made 80 rwhp and 79 rwtq more than you. My 5 speed has a little less drag than the auto though. Keep it up!

from what I remember, going from 25-30* wasn't worth but 15-20hp.

Hmmm...well I'm getting ready to do the 90mm TB as well, so maybe I can get up into the 20's for timing.

My changes in timing were made slow and 1* at a time. We had to really custom tailor the rpm band with the timing. Above 6k the timing was only 26* to stay out of kr. Most of this tuning was done on the street on a 85+ degree day. Granted the 30* was excessive. At 31* on the dyno we got kr so we backed it down to just 30*. Then 2 weeks later in the middle of a warmer day I had 2 other guys in the cab for a joy ride and the weighed 230-250 each. That was an extra 500lbs load on the engine with a 1* buffer set up for a much lighter dynojet pull on a 55* evening. I think that was a recipe for disaster, don't you The strange thing is I saw no kr on my interceptor scanguage at all. It just hit sudden detonation when I shifted to 3rd gear It drove 40 miles home under it's own power and 3 pistons with chunks of ring lands missing

Geez, that's tuning to the ragged edge. I was refering to my truck only having 5* of timing TOTAL! If you look at my EFI live screen shot, you'll see that I had 11.5* at that moment, but earilier in the run you can see I only had 5*. Now that **** sucks. In fact I had more KR than timing. I need fuel in the worst way.

Hey Chris, can you give me some of yours?

You want gas? I got gas.....most people want me to leave, but if you want it it's all yours. Strange fetish though, not quite sure how I feel about that.
