Mine made 419 to the wheels with about 6 psi, but I have a cam and long tubes. Thats not too bad. I don't think roots blowers dyno well just because of all the sitting and heat soak without anything to cool it. I ran a 12.87 with 5600lb truck on 5.5psi.

See I have this same setup plan, but alot of guys was telling me stick 1900 and not 2300. I wonder what a 2300 would do it this case? I mean for that hp number, it does run out. But what if someone wants to make higher numbers?

I only made made 388 with my mods. I run 8.3 in the 1/8 which is high 12's in the 1/4. That's what I ran on Justin's tune. I just dyno tuned it with Jeremy Formato and what a difference. I am probably going to the track this weekend see what its at now. A buddy at work just put on the same kit u have on a 09 5.3 with LT's, full exhaust, and can. He made 470 and I beat him. Don't always look at the HP.

Exactly, I made over 100hp less than skipperdaddy did on the dyno, but run faster in the 1/4.

I think blackbear tunes are a bit conservative. But not without reason; he wouldn't tune it to the breaking point, because everyone runs their truck to its max at one time or another. That's risking it. If you really want to get the most out of it, get the truck dyno tuned.

I also let out of it before the traps like a little girl... ...lol! But you are right... dynos are just tuning tools IMO... the qtr mile times will tell the tale of how well your combo works...
