Default SDPC 2014 5.3L dyno results

Here is a video and some pics of the 2014 5.3L we just put on the dyno. This is completely stock. Has 1600 miles and 87 octane.....

What dyno did you guys use? I know there are differences between say a super flow and a mustang, but there is a thread on here where lingengelter dyno'd a stock 5.3 on gas only and it was puttin down something like 32x hp and 35(?) tq

You are comparing their e85 numbers. Pump gas numbers are almost identical. Here's a link to their dyno results:

Nice ! Like to see what some bolt ons / tune will do !

BTW the engine looks awesome ! I like how they ditched the big engine cover and added a valve cover"coil cover" . Awesome !

What previous nnbs stock 5.3 put down on your dyno?

I gotta think that headers will help out these trucks a lot with higher compression etc. I can't wait to see some more info/specs on the HPDI heads and cam as well.

It's pretty awesome that the 5.3 makes as much power as the LQ9 used to.
