sure there is. dyno is a tuning tool. it doesnt tell you how fast a vehicle is. a lot of variables go into a dyno pull.

no matter if it puts down 350hp the truck is a freaking beast to me! haha

I agree the dyno is just a tool seen high hp dyno numbers not show at track and seen low dyno numbers show way more at track. My S475/83/1.25 is done around 750 whp at 16-17 psi after that no more fuel burned. The turbine is the choke point. 4.8L could make more power with same turbine.

Haha, while I think it's a great date, might be a tough pull this cold out lol.

As for exhaust leaks, it did have a cracked header last time but that will only slow spool, not over all power.

I may get some id1000's in here before I go so I will have fuel to push 20ish psi out of this shinny snail but have to sleep on dropping 950 bucks for a set.

Well after replacing fuel filter I'm still not happy with my fuel system that seems to be a lot weaker then it once was. After logging pressure today, it's rock solid so I think my larger 100 micron filter has let some crap thru and clogged my deka 80s. John at FIC also agree's it most likely my issue.

My solution is to just man up and go bigger anyways. Ordered a set of Bosch Racing 127lb injectors, high impedence. Also a magna fuel filter safe for ethenal with rated at 25 micron. The 80s will get cleaned/flowed and sold.

Hope to have everything in tomorrow and start tuning, finish tuning Friday, dyno Saturday.

Well see.

Those are the injectors I'm planning to buy. Are they direct drop ins on the truck intake and rails?

Nice. I'm interested to see how they work out for you. Why did you decide to go with them vs IDs?

Probably because they are half the cost and work just as well

Mainly atomic made it a simple choice and I really like these flow numbers he graphed. Should support all I need and then some extra if I ever go built motor.

I have ls1 rails and custom adapters made for the Tbss intake. Also already had ev1 connectors. John is including the adapter to make them 60mm tall so they will be a direct swap from the 80s

Due to rain, the dyno day has been moved to next weekend. Did get some stuff in though and will be installed tonight.

Bosch 127lb/extended tips and 25 Micron filter safe with E85.
