I'm on the hunt for a complete LY6 6l90 swap.. so the plan is to keep the VVT..
We've got an LY6 going together right now that we're putting in a 1961 Parkwood Wagon....we're retaining the VVT, so we'll have some number for you LY6 guys as well! I'm trying to talk them into going with a Whipple blower on it, but no luck so far

Exactly! I don't know if he'll ever go for all that though on this one....it's such a nice truck, I think he just wants to leave it alone and drive it.

You can put a fast lsx r/t on a 6.2L?

Dude, factory numbers are crank hp, dyno are rear wheel

There is about 20% in the difference depending on dyno and drivetrain.
Dyno #'s being 20% lower.

Precisely! Those numbers are pretty average for this engine in stock form!

Just curious, but was the cam timing profile changed at all in the tune, or just ignition? Do you have plans of bigger VVT cams in the future?

When you tune a VVT cam, there is ALOT of time spent adjusting the cam timing and phaser tables! We already have several more aggressive/larger VVT cams on the shelfs ready to go!

Matt, I can't find anything specific about this on Texas-Speed.com, nothing even listed for the new trucks.
I have a 2009 1500 with the 6.0 L76 (vvt & afm) and 6l80e. I'm seriously interested in the coming summer months in your cam offerings. Since you have spent time with tuning the VVT phasing, do you give recommendations on the VVT tables with the purchase of a cam?
Since the L76 is a 6.0 with the L92 heads, should this perform pretty well in that combo as well?
