yeah i thought about that too. but uhh... looks like im gonna worry about it when the time comes. i have a little over 4 more years till my truck is 6 so i got plenty of time to blow the 4.8 and build a smog legal motor. and if thats not the case then looke like im gonna pay big $$ to get it smogged illegally. who knows....

yea really. i was lookin at the dyno list. im making as much as if not more power then some 5.3's with more mods than me. whats up with that?? tuning???

although they were pushing more torque.

Its the way that the dynapack that he uses measures. In order to more accurately compare your results to others you must use a dynojet style dyno. Go back and look at the guys that have dynoed on Synergys dyno and you will see the "higher than usual" numbers. Some people also use a mustang dyno, but you cant compare those results to the dynojet either. To get a true measure of your power and how it works, take it to the track. There you will see who makes more useable power.

I dont know if I agree with you there. Synergy's numbers are higher but his cars/trucks run good times too.
The dyno is a tuning tool, agreed. All dynos read power differently, agreed.
I ran the 1/4 only .1 second slower than a 6.0L with pretty much all the same mods, on the same track at the same time. Not trying to pat my own back but the track times do match the dyno #'s pretty good on the vehicles I have seen tuned by Rick.
