Tim - Brians tune won't work for you if you're getting a 80E. The tables in the computer look the same for the 60 and 80 but the underlying program is different for the two. The perfect file for you would be a base magna radix tune for a 2000/2001 2wd 2500 that has a 6.0L and a 4L80E. Of course you can't load the file until you have the radix and trans in so get to freaking work, you're worse than moregrip when it comes to installing ****. Oh, you said Brian hadn't sent you some stuff yet, good luck getting it in a timely manner.

I have the 2000 superchips tuner that comes with it. It is the 5.3/60e though. I am only licensed for 2002/2004 trucks. If you get your hands on a 2002 pcm, your golden as far as I go. I can certainly help any way you'd like if you get an '02pcm.PM Wilde Racing ask him how much for one. Tell him I sent ya. What is gonna be done to the 80e? just stock? shift kit? I'd just copy and paste some stock 80e tables(a 2500 tune is preferable). Bryan still has the 60e I believe right? (how else is the f-er so fast? ) FLT at that. Bryan's pcm is a 2003 and correct me if I am wrong but didn't you stay cable? he is fly by wire right? Just things to think about if you are indeed cable. On a side note, I guess they could always "look" at Brians tune and go from there. I'm unsure on the trans, but seriously leaning toward the 80e, as I think the higher 1st gear will help me get out of the hole. A low first gear and high stall in only good if you can get traction. I want to run good on street tires.

 

And as for you, I'm pretty sure you had a charger tucked and hidden away in your closet underneath your Raggedy Ann doll for a lot longer than this one has been on the floor of my foyer (btw, the wife is pissed about that). Brian said the pump and "shizit" (I think it means **** in California) will be here Monday or Tuesday, and since Monday is over, I'm hoping tomorrow.
