well, what a terrible day.

turns out it wasn't only test and tune. the Central Mass. Drag Racing club or whatever its called was having bracket racing or something. and then of course there were bikes and other dragsters and stuff.

well i pulled into the track at 11am. i didn't get to race until 3pm. i got one run. i paid $28. i'm sunburnt.

no, no one else was there.


i ran a 14.78 @ 90mph. so not a best time. but i ran my best time back on april 21st or something. a lot colder air. it was probably low 80s today by the time i got to race. so maybe i'll go once it cools off again. i think i'll run a little better. maybe like 14.5 or something in cooler air.

EDIT: there was a silverado SS there that was part of the central mass. drag racing group. looked all stock but i'm guessing he had an air intake because he took his headlight out. he ran 14.989 or something. damn those things are slow in stock form.

You just learned that on saturday you get there at 8am,not 11am We had a few cars there that got 3-4 runs each before noon.Then it was hot so they left.
