9th Annual Sport Truck Shootout - Trucks! TV
The 454ss North American Truck Club’s 9th Annual Sport Truck Shootout
August 02, 2008
at London Dragway, 3835 White Oak Road, London, Ky.
Trucks! from PowerBlock TV, which airs on the "Spike" network with Ryan and Kevin, will be joining us to unveil the 1990 Chevy 454SS and the 1994 Ford Gen 1 Lightning they are building on the show this season titled MuscleTrux. You can watch as they progress through the build on their website http://www.powerblocktv.com/sites/trucks/
Our event is open to all street trucks, any make, model or year this includes the following (but not limited to): S-10s, Lightnings, F-150s, Harley Trucks, Dakotas, R/Ts, SRT-10s, Rams, Syclones, Typhoons, El Caminos, Silverado SSs, Diesels and 4x4s.
We are working on having some exhibitions at the race.

ENTREE FEE TO SPORT TRUCK SHOOTOUT RACE -
$35.00 before June 12, 2008
$40.00 from June 13, 2008 until race time
SPECTATOR FEE - $15.00
Goody bags will be given to racing participant who pre-register by July 01, 2008.

Schedule:
11:00 a.m. Track opens for racing participants and spectators.
2:30 p.m. The Shootout racing will begin and run until all the trucks have completed their racing.
Followed by the trophy presentation.
Trophies will be presented for the following classes:
1/8 mile:
7.04 and faster
7.05 to 7.69
1/4 Mile:
12.00 to 12.99
13.00 to 13.99
14.00 to 14.99
15.00 and slower
Slowest ET (Horses A** Award)
King of the Track (1/4 mile)
King of the Track (1/8 mile)
The rules are the same as last year and for those of you who did not see the rules last year, you can see the rules on the Shootout Registration link, http://www.truckshootout.com/ or you can visit the London Dragway website. http://www.londondragway.com/
We will be selling our 50/50 tickets and raffle tickets.
If you have suggestions or would like to help out, please let me know, so I can keep track of volunteers. It would be greatly appreciated if you all would help by posting the information on other forums. If you would like to donate something for the raffle or for door prizes, or you would like to help out at the Shootout, please contact me and let me know.
