Hooters food is pretty bad, There is a twin peaks in Edmond which is about 30-40 min north of Norman

Looking to keep it local to Norman if possible, I ate at an Irish pub once down by the Freebirds across from campus...I remember it being good.

agreed, please toss out anything you can think off, worst case, we meet, greet, shoot the ****, then ride out to Edmond, I am fine with that, if that is what it takes!

There is all kinds of restaurants in Norman that have beer and good food, it really depends on what everybody wants and likes

Here's a few off the top of my head so I'm sure I'm forgetting a few places, Chilis, Applebee's, on the border, salt grass, outback, *Louie's, teds, *interurban, buffalo wild wings, genghis grill
