I believe coating the outer foil in Line-x would negate the heat reflective properties of it and actually absorb the heat, which is what you are trying to reduce in the first place
Preston129, got any pics of tube after ceramic/powder coating?

Whenever I loook at my IATs on HPT, I'm almost always in the "red", apparently that starts at 104°.

Those IAT's were "before" numbers. I haven't had a chance to get "after" numbers, but I will update this when I do.
Curious for results.

TX, feels like someone stole my blower was funny, but I can see that in your heat. I know you've tried to cool Radix from threads. I remember the tryin to keep cool Radix thread we both posted alot in. I need to revisit that thread now that I'm boosted.

And now the options of more more & / or keepin it cool get pricey. Meth, NOS, & / or phenolic.

Install the tank inside the the cap and the pump below the cap ( they are quite), and run the lines.

AEM Meth kit is 395 $ with free shipping from MVPmotorsports.com.
...
U do mean inside the cab, right? But why, for meth fillups, cause I can't see a point unless it's for another reason?

$395 for meth is pretty low, as Snow has a low priced kit near that, but options add up fast.

And I assume your meant put the tank in the cab, which isn't going to happen as it's my DD and it is going to look stock inside and out.
Whatever meth does bettter, whether lowerin IAT's or boostin octane, if it nets more power, I'm thinkin it's the next step to my Radix evolution.
Stock lookin under the hood too?

Here's a couple before I installed it:

If the IAT sensor was still in the MAF I would have IR tested the outside of the tube and compared the delta, but since it's moved to the lower TVS manifold it's hard to say what kind of a difference it makes. The tube cools down much quicker once the engine's off, just like a coated set of headers though, I've noticed.

This is my secret weapon for lower IATs though:

Tom- you are in the "red" because you have never adjusted it. Just like the min and max the color can be programmed to turn at certain settings.

^ if you on E85 like you sig said, your intake temp is no where near high enough to make a difference in HP, E85 doesnt care. is your 95* IAT or 94* after all the tape and bubble wrap, its alcohol, it doesnt care if its 250*
