My 2005 Silverado RCSB 5.3 with stock heads, stock cam and all other stock internals plus bolt-on’s in the form of; a Maggie 1900 with 3” pulley, DynaTech long tubes, 90mm TB, Snow Performance Meth spray, a Ford 9” with 3:89’s, Tru-trak and M&H 12.0/29.0 / 15 slicks runs in the 12’s with a low of 12.53 and a 60’ of 1.71 – not bad for a bolt-on 5.3 pulling 4,620 lbs.

I figured a 408 would alone put him in the upper 12's with a good set of DR's. With a blower on top of that its near a stock tbss. Do you think the blower is hurting his e/t?

If he is using the Whippletronics, then yes, absolutely. If he eliminated them and is using bigger injectors and a tune, then without an intercooler, his ET is probably not being hurt. The added bottom end power from the blower probably makes up for the loss on top for elapsed time. He would most likely MPH better in the 1/4 without that thing on the truck at all, pushing 200° air into his motor like it does.
