In my halfton, 3/4 tank is about 19 gallons, a 1/4 tank is about 7 gallons. At 6.25lbs per gallon, sounds like around an extra 75lbs. Still a lot extra weight to run plus it's unstable at launch so it really doesn't help you hook up. Looking at your ET's, it doesn't really seem to be slowing you down all that much.
I know how you feel. When I used to race my old '73 455 trans am (11.03 @131), the track was out in the boondocks so I'd have to have about 3/4 a tank of gas at the last gas station so I could make it back home if I went more than 4 or 5 rounds (not that often unfortunately...).

When your 60' starts getting into the 1.4's with the pumps located in the front center portion of a long skinny tank all the fuel goes to the back. I can't nail my truck even from a roll with less than 1/2 tank. It sucks. Same thing happens with car's with carbs, they need jet extentions to keep the rear jets in the fuel.

You must have a longbed tank.

Thanks man. Not trying to jack your thread or anything, but figured since we're all in here I'll just ask my questions here instead of starting a new thread. lol. This one has been very informative for me already. I know I have a hemi, but I come here when I want to learn more about the performance side of everything. LOL
Ok, my setup (hemi) is going to be very close to stock48's. Mine is just going to be a forged 370 based off of the 5.7 block with a 3.8 stroke and stock bore. It'll be a front mount setup with a t4 pt88. The heads are just going to be mildly ported and it will either have the stock truck intake or maybe the 5.7 car intake. My question is about the two cam's I'm trying to decide on. The first one is what I thought would be good for a 370 (before really reading all about his setup) and the second one is smaller, more alike to stock48's sizing of a cam for his 370. Actually, I'll probably get more views in a new thread, but you guys tell me what you think.
First cam: 224/222 557/549 114LSA
Second cam: 216/214 560/565 114LSA
