hopefully everything will go smooth with the swap. i have the trans removal down to under an hour....i am guessing the engine wont be as easy....i havent removed one from my truck b4.
--should i take the s/c off before i pull the engine?
--also when i reinstall, should i put s/c on b4 or after the engine is in?? i remember one of the bolts in the back of the s/c near the firewall was extremely hard to get to when it went in the first time.....

is there a fancy do-hickey of a tool that magnuson has for tightening the rear hard-to-reach bolts for doing the installs? or any other tools that can make it easier?

I wouldnt say you are limited to 450rwhp. I made 448 with about 5psi on my lq4. Meth and a 2.9 pulley got me to 475. 90mm and tuning got me to 505rwhp. More tuning and I made 513rwhp on the 22's. I have seen 545rwhp on the dynapack dyno which reads power output right from the axles hub.
Bottom line is that the truck will haul some serious *** regardless of what a dyno says. It just won't build much more than 8psi and won't make the #'s that a larger blower/turbo will. 8psi on a "built" motor is kind of a waste in my book. 10+psi is very livable on a stock 6.0L if the tune is on the money. Forge the pistons, upgrade the rods, and the 6.0 is left breathless with the 112.
