yes they are some badass motors. my buddy has a 05 gto with ls2 m6.
all that's done to it is shorty headers(worse than stock manifolds), flowmasters (chokemaster), intake, ud pulley, clutch, stock gears, w/nitto's running 12.20's @ 112.

I can't imaginine how a automatic can dyno higher than a stick.Is the cam different in the automatic LS2?I thought that they both ran a cam similar to the 02 up LS6.Does the automatic come with a lighter driveshaft or what,because the automatic transmission and converter have to have more poertrain losses.

The auto was a early morning pull with 55 deg temp, the stick was in the afternoon with 80+ deg temp. The 6 speed will make the same under the same conditions
