Yikes. I never let my get even close to a 1/4 now. That is the quickest way to burn a fuel pump up. I know cause it happened to me. But still I recommend doing twin walbro 255 intank pumps with a hobb switch set to 5#. Thats what I did.

if you let it get too low. when you take off it will starve the fuel pump, which is where your fuel pressure drop probably came from. You should be ok with a single 255 at the power level you are at. You could add a magnavolt for insurance, but if you get much over where you are at I would do the twin 255's. Just be glad you are return style and dont have to F with converting like some of us are going to have to do.

I agree with Rick. Somewhere above 450 RWHP you will start to run out of injector on the 42# injectors.
OP:
Watch out for low fuel tank slosh. I am still having problems with it at 3/8 of a tank. It can kill a good time.

The Ford Racing 42's that I have are rated at 43.5 psi, so, they are 48's at 58 psi. They will be enough for 500rwhp NA since B.S.F.C. is lower than FI.
I am worried about stock fuel pump but have read that 2003 truck fuel pumps are better than older ones.
