The 044 is a bigger pump, can support more hp (IIRC). I am running the 044 and so far great.. I also have heard horror stories about the AERO pumps, that theu take a **** not long after they are put on a DD...

They get super hot under continuious duity, thats why I would only have it on under boost. Sounds like the 044 is the way to go, I drive my truck cross country from Co Springs to Ca 1200MI each way so I need something in the tank that won't leave me in the lurch

Yah you fig a pump like the 1000 would be made to last, esp for the price.... I think the 44 will do it if not they sell a bigger one, where the whole bottom is open, just can't remember the name off the top of me head...

Anyone have issues with pressure dropping before you crank? The 044 doesnt come with a check valve so unless you added one to the pump before you installed it the pressure is gonna drop at key-on if you dont crank immediately. Its not a big deal, just wondering if anyone added the check valve when they did the install. Here is the second page of my install with pics. It shows the check valve from summitt i plan on eventually getting.

Extend the relay run time at key-on? Is that possible? I dont think there is a place to do that in the software.
