Did you notice any decrease in IATs, or faster air intake cool down from wrapping the intake piping? Less heat soak from idling or anything?

I'm assuming that.... If I installed the 4" tubing at home I'd have to install the 100mm maf in order to get the truck running and get it to the tuner. Is that correct? Or could the 4" tubing be installed without a maf and then take it to the tuner. I'm assuming the the computer would recognized that the maf was gone and that the engine would not start without the maf.Correct??

The engine will likely start and run without the MAF. In fact, you'll probably be able to drive it to the tuners, it just won't run great. The computer will refer to the tables in lieu of MAF info.

Or.. since the tuner is 50 miles away, I could build the new intake setup then reinstall the old one for the drive.

Now just have to build the intake, a new coolant resevoir, maybe a second heat exchanger, get the 2.6" and 10% od pulleys installed and I'm ready for the 2bar olsd tune, then maybe/probably nitrous and new injectors.

Your intake temps are going to through the roof with a 2.6 pulley and an overdrive pulley. Might want to invest in a larger reservior and heat exchanger.

I run a 2 bar tune without the MAF. I picked up .2 in the 1/4 going to the 4" intake and tuning.

Where did you locate your battery? I like the heat wrap... it looks hairy.
