408 with M122
Ok, the motor in my silverado ss is done. Going to stroke the engine to a 408 and put a set of Dart 225 heads on it. Considering the Magnacharger M122 supercharger and was wondering what kind of times anyone has run with this setup? I have been unable to find anyone running a j-tube style M122 blower that has any posted times. Of course I can't use the search function worth a sh*% either---lol.
My goal is to run high elevens with awesome streetability. Don't care about dyno numbers, just real world results. Thanks guys!

If you spend that kind of money on a 408 I would just go to the l92 conversion and use a truck intake and a centrifugal blower. I don't care what any of the reps or anyone else says right now the 122/tvs still don't have enough air up top to really move a heavy *** truck. Yes they will go 11's but not back to back and not without extensive costs. Look into what 2004sss did chase.. His silverado SS as well as AZ fastss have run down into the 11's with very straight forward combos with centrifugal blowers. Those numbers can be repeated and run back to back to back. Pound for pound a centrifugal will get you there alot easier than a roots style blower. I know I am going to get jumped on by the TVS guys and blah blah kenny duttweiler built engine made 600 hp.. A natrually asperated really well built 408 should get you close to an 11 without boost. The money duttweiler had tied up in that engine it should have made more power.
It all depends on how deep your pockets are and what your taste is.

My 122 is maxed at 10psi on a 6.0. I would recommend something different for that motor or build a 370 with a TVS. I don't have any times yet as I just upgraded the blower last week and then broke my trans. I hopefully can run high 11's with what I have. May need meth and more tuning though we will see.

That's only because you got the J-tube, people that run the MP122HH with a front inlet rear driven setup are boosting it way up. Call Joe (LEFTCOAST) Sponsor to the right>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm sure he will get you setup with a good deal of info.
Here's a 427ci with the MP122HH:

A 408 will run just great with a tvs 2300. This is what I did with a 408 and a 1900 at 5.5 lbs of boost with front pulley setup. You can't beat the TVS for reliability and driveability. Hell my gas mileage went up 1.3 mpg from my 6.0/112 combo. A 408/2300 combo with run 11's all day and drive you to the track and back.
