It's been awhile now but I got the engine converted to mechanical fuel injection on methanol. Base setup is 13.5 psi, 26* timing. On dyno pull it blew the head gasket out. I'm using cometic or felpro multi layer head gaskets I don't remember which. Pieces of the steel from the head gasket are blown out. What might be the cause. I was under the impression that the 6.0 block and afr heads should be able to take 16lbs of boost? So 13 should be a breeze in the park. I tried to upload a video but it wouldn't let me. Thanks

Turn the timing down until you can get a handle on it. I realize methanol might take more timing, but 26* in my opinion is your problem with boost. At 14 psi, I might start around 18 and work my way up to 22.

There has been some questions about cam specs In Relation to this. The lobe separation is 115* intake centerline 112* the block and heads were decked before assembly also.
