Allen,

How would the PT88 work on a 6.0L?

I'd run the 88 on a 6L. I think it would be just fine. With a decent sized stall converter, semi tall gears, it would work just fine.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my avalanche as this truck, it's a cammed 6L, 80e, and due to the weight of the truck it seems to require a larger turbo. I think the .96 MP76 spools too easy, but that's just me. I'm sure 99% of the public would prefer the quick spool, but I don't race this truck, so lag is fine. I like to be able to dig into the throttle just a bit before boost comes in. Just my opinion on it.

btw, this truck is out of fuel! 8psi was just fine and actually ran badass, turned it up to 12psi, and dual pumps and 60's just aren't enough. The fuel pressure was fine, but the injector duty cycle was at a calculated 125%.
Any attempt to increase the ve table didn't richen it up (3bar).
A good example of pressure being fine, but volume lacking.
I'll patch the fuel system by spraying some meth.
Truck really needs an a1000 to supply enough fuel without spray.
I'm sure the meth will supplement the fuel system just fine for now.

I'll get some vids of 8psi tomorrow and possibly a dyno.

later,
allen

You don't have to hold back anymore Allen. It was never a big secret anyhow. The truck is extended cab with 9.5 CR, stock 317 heads, vic jr, FLT 4l80e and PI 4000 stall. Pretty much my nitrous set up with a turbo, not Ideal but I'll make some changes as needed. I knew the fuel system was weak but getting a solid one will have to wait. Also I messed up buying a big rig turbo but Allen helped me out and made it work. He did a great job and it turned out far better than I could have ever imagined it. I hope to make some track passes on Friday and the ultimate goal is 10's but It may need a converter restall and some traction aids to get there. We'll find out soon enough.

Wait until you drive it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this turbo. Spool is great and power seems limitless.
Other than it weighs 55lbs, lol.

You said you are out of fuel --- are you out of pump or out of injector?
Since you still have fuel pressure, i take it you need bigger injectors??
Just confused on how you can still have pressure and not enough volume, other than the injectors being to small
