the motor that's in truck now was in my Camaro and it run 6.60s on 150 shot and 7.30s on motor so the truck eat up a lot of that just taking the motor and trans out of car and putting in truck lost a lot of get up and go.

I'd consider a T6 kit from KBRacing. You can still run a medium frame turbo (even with a T4 adapter if needed) and have the hot side already there if you wanted to upgrade down the road with a bigger turbo etc. this way, the kit is purchased once and you're done.

Give me a shout to go over your build and your requirements.

Many assume people want more later in life because they wanted more.
While others build for 1000+ hp but never get there or run out funds else where.
Then that kit is too big and just a big giant POS on the street.
Kit should be built to match the goals and have the ability to upgrade with ease when the time is right.

Pretty much sums it up right there. A lot more goes into building a 1000hp truck than just turning up the boost controller. Even 800 is rowdy on street tires in a truck, not something to be taken lightly.

The s400-84/96 sounds like it might fit the bill for what you want though, will spool decent on the street and make 1000hp on your motor with it turned up.
