4L80E will I lose power??

you wont loose anything with it. The out of the hole will feel kinda slow since its got a tall 1st gear. Stall it and you should be fine. The minimal "loss", actually what you feel makes you think its a "loss", is worth it for the longevity of the trans. Do it and dont turn back

Here where did 60e vs 80e all runs were made on 10lb of boost. My tune still needs work for 80e. The 80e loads the turbo a lot better than the 80e. Here is the link.

good luck and with a aftermarket converter you will never be able to tell between the two, i went from a 60 with a yank 3k to a stock stall 80 and love it, the shifts are crisp and firm and they never skip, miss, hesitate, or shutter like the 60 did!
