you wont loose anything with it. The out of the hole will feel kinda slow since its got a tall 1st gear. Stall it and you should be fine. The minimal "loss", actually what you feel makes you think its a "loss", is worth it for the longevity of the trans. Do it and dont turn back

so i should be ok with the 3600 tripel disk? it all in the truck and ill pick it up tomm. cant wait...

I wouldn't recomend the 80E for a Na setup but with the power you have you will hardly notice the loss. The 3600 might be a little much, but you can allways have it tightend up a bit.

4L80E was the best thing I ever did! God! I could have saved a LOT of money!Lol

Here where did 60e vs 80e all runs were made on 10lb of boost. My tune still needs work for 80e. The 80e loads the turbo a lot better than the 80e. Here is the link.

yeah i bet you blow past that converter. I think you will really like the 80. I like mine.

the last 3200 was a little tight so that is why we went with a 3600. but it my not be that i just told them that the last one was to tight...well find out today.

good luck and with a aftermarket converter you will never be able to tell between the two, i went from a 60 with a yank 3k to a stock stall 80 and love it, the shifts are crisp and firm and they never skip, miss, hesitate, or shutter like the 60 did!
