Default 5.3 600whp

I'm looking to do a build on my daily 5.3 crew cab short bed Silverado 2wd truck as of right now has intake, headers and exhaust. Looking to replace the exhaust and headers but I want to do a little more then that. I want to get 600whp but I want it to still be reliable like a gm is! What could/should I do to get to that point? Also I do plan on throwing a turbo on my buddy has one he's going to practically give me not sure the brand but it's a 76mm

Just add a turbo and a 4L80e transmission and you'll be making choo choo noises in no time. Even if you hit 500whp you'll be more than impressed and besides with regular street tires you are never going to have a ton of traction lol.

Already have 4.11 gears and a locker with 1k miles on it but I'll definitely look into the 4l80e trans

Was looking to do tfs genx 205 heads, fast lsxr intake manifold, fast 102mm throttle body, not sure what else to go with or how reliable it would be, but I'm all ears taking advice!

Turbo, fuel upgrades and trans and you will be there. 600rwhp in a 2 wheel drive is gong to nuts on the street. Lol...

No need for heads or intake

Stock will do ya fine for a 600hp goal unless ya want to spend money

Yeah, I'd keep the motor stockisk, maybe cam, head gaskets and head studs. No need for and heads or intake for a 600hp turbo setup. A set of my hot pipes and the turbo and can make 600 pretty easy.
