A solid turbo kit with a good cam should get you there....give Spike performance a call they have good deals on turbo kits right now

^^^ my thoughts exactly! I just got through reading this thread and if you've got $6,000 grand to play with just call a shipping company and put that truck on a car hauler going to Spike Performance and tuning, 707 E. Mozelle st, Pharr TX 78577.... You'll have your truck back in no time and ready to go! Prolly a bit of money too! These are some great guys to deal with! Hell, when I bought my kit, I think Mario gave me half the **** for free! Lol!

600 hp is easily obtainable with a cam, turbo kit, and supporting fuel mods but so is 1000 hp with the same mods but spec'd out to make 1000 hp. The question is how much do you want to spend. Turbo kit, cam kit, fuel system upgrade, stall, 4l80e, trutrac, gears, finish exhaust, and misc gauges, boost controller etc.... It's really that simple. The issue is not making 600hp, it's making it for 6k and it still be DD worthy.

Then you still need suspension/tires.

What turbo kit would you go with? What brand cam? I have 4.11 heads with a locker. What fuel system? I want to redo the exhaust so what headers? What exhaust? Right now I'm saying forget the price limit I'm just gonna go piece by piece if I have to I'll let it sit until I can install it!

Take a look at this link.
It took him 20 psi on a 76mm to get 641hp/635tq. If i was in your situation i would not push it that hard on a DD just for the sake of having 600hp.... Gotta remember its a DD and you don't even know what shape your J/Y engine is in. Just something to think about.

I bought the same On3 Kit except i went with the 70mm. He is using their 76mm. The kit is still in the box. I only opened it to take pictures lol. My goals changed and i'm not going to use it. If you would be interested in the On3 kit send me a PM. I need to get off my butt and post it for sale so i can buy more parts!

What do you want out of the On3 kit?

my truck put down 500 with on3 kit 78 turbo that's on 11 psi pump gas , we will add meth and boost up after to see what will it do .

everything is obtainable you just have to get the right parts if i were on the fence to buy a turbo kit it will be from KB for sure , i will beat on this on3 for now but i will go with kb after .

tuning is what matters for a DD car\truck
