I would go with the cheap 50 dollar yellow z06 springs before I did 918's. 918 have a know history of failing. It is supposed to be fixed but yeah....
I would find a 02 and up z06 cam from ls1tech. the 02 and up is better than 01 and down...
Hardened comp pushrods or equivalents.
good springs. Ive ran the yellow springs with no problems. Its an opinion thing, The Pac are good springs. Texas speed, sponser to the right>>>> can hook you up with some of this.
I run the ls6 cam with the 7.4 pushrod. It is supposed to use a bit of a longer one, but we just lose a little preload on the lifter. I havent had problems with mine. And if I go to an aftermarket cam, the 7.4 will be used. The z06 cam just has a smaller base circle.
