Default 574rwhp Magnuson "112" using 111LSA cam

stumbled across this and thought it was intersting:

Here's his post..

Went to the dyno tonight it was a dyno jet. Weather was about 50 degrees out. I have a 02 camaro z28 6 speed dana 60 rear with 411s in it. Prc stage1 243 heads with a MS4(wasnt planning on putting on a blower ) Anywho its late so ill get pics/vids/graph up tomorrow but it put down 574 horse and 505 ft-lbs

I was hoping for 500 and anything over i would be happy with so im 74 horse happy. The cam is obviously not helping this at all either because its 111lsa to start with. Its made for more of a cam only car but im impressed. Car still has stock bottom end in it stock pistons and rods.

specs on the cam are:

Texas Speeds Magic Stick 4 camshaft 239/242, .649"/.609 111LSA

Dyno not calibrated, no correction? 5.5lbs of boost? I don't think so, expecially with that cam. No?

the idea behind it is:

bleed some boost off down low and make the bigger numbers up high.

Well production of TQ is directly related to cylinder pressure and a 111lsa and that much duration is going to have alot of overlap thus bleeding cylinder pressure. Damn good numbers, anyone notice he is only using a 3.2 pulley. IE not spinning the **** out of it so its not a hair dryer up top. Damn good numbers and should make for a good sounding and quick car.

A Dana 60 is a very efficient rear end for it's weight. Being strickly a Mopar addict, I can tell you that a Dana 60 weighs, on average, 55lbs more than an 8 3/4" without any loss in et or mph. It's just a whole lot stronger. Also he was running 4.10's not 4.11's
