You are insane for running a stock pump or damn lucky.

Before you kill it, upgrade your fuel system. You never answered how much injector you have, ????

After this get your exhaust taken care of, THEN pulley down.

You can up your boost with out headers, but it run soooo much better with them.

Boost is a measure of restriction, less boost with effecient exhaust and proper fuel system> stock exhaust and more boost.

The 2300 came with 60lb injectors do they all come with these injectors...i have wideband it dont go lean.

Do you have any data logs or way of monitoring the duty cycle of the injectors? Not sure what that stock pump on your truck is capable but might be getting close to maxing it out

Even it if you up it to 10psi it will not whine at idle, I am running my TVS2300 at 11-12psi right now and its silent at idle. I actually cant hear the blower till I hit about 3psi boost when driving and it doesn't become very noticeable till about 6psi.
