Default 6.0L Turbo Kit [as seen at SEMA]

I saw this turbo setup for a 6.0L truck while at SEMA. I talked to the guys at the booth and they said they have tested two prototype kits already with great results. Somewhere in the 450rwhp range for a stock engine with about 5 PSI (IIRC). Their kit looks very well made and high quality, I didn't get a retail price for it, they do have a website though. What do you guys think? I may add something like this to my tow vehicle. I think it will fit on 5.3L and 4.8L trucks, this was tested on a 4x4 model. WOW! That looks to be one of the best engineered kits on the market. I probably won't be as excited when we get the retail price.

does anyone else see how retarded the intake piping looks?? to the passanger side of the motor and then down and back across to the driver side??? why not just got from the tb to the driverside of the engine bay and then down?? theres nothing over there anyways except the battery. everything else looks nice. Looks like they stole alot of ideas from Livernois

Ya 2tone I saw that too. I agree that the kit does hit alot to the Livernois kit, but the Livernois kit does hint alot to the Combination Motorsports kit whichs hint to every other turbo kit in the market. Except the sts of course

nope. i would have to disagree with you. cmotorsports has log style headers which livernoise has tubular header. Cmotorsport also has air to water I/C where as livernois has air to air. Thats 2 major differences. Another big difference is that livernois kits are actually for sale. Cmotorsports still doesnt have a kit that is readily available to the common public

I agree. There isn't a whole lot of different ways you can run an underhood turbo kit. Maybe they ran the piping the way they did to be different. Maybe there were some patent issues with Livernois?

I have seen some of their (other application) hot parts up close... as they are local. I have never seen (not this application) .125 heavy wall 321 welded with perfection like that before. VERY nice stuff. Did not know they were developing a single up top. I know one guy was trying to coordinate getting a truck twin kit fabbed up there... and I don't know what happened with that project.
I actually like the charge ducting routed down. looks like a well engineered kit to me. I have a feeling though this kit will be priced out of reach for guys like myself...

I suspect it to be near the 10k price range of Wheel2Wheel's kit. (10k is installed)

$10k installed ... for a kit (W2W) that uses stock manifolds?
