Default 6.2 Magnacharger/Procharger

Hey guys I am new to this forum and I have a pretty common question. I know everyone debates over which supercharger to get and I have done my research of both. I read the thread posted about all the different types of forced induction and it was very insightful, but I still have some questions. I have a 2010 6.2 silverado with a few bolt ons. I am looking into either a magnacharger or a procharger, but I really need it to remain reliable. I am not looking for insane hp/tq numbers. This is my daily driver and I want to make sure the kit I get will be ok for towing some. I am probably just gonna run a basic 6/7psi kit so I will not be looking at upgrading pulleys etc. for more power. I know its very opinionated, but I want something that will not have belt slipping problems or anything like that. I was leaning towards the magnacharger after some of the stuff I have found online.. what do yall think?? thanks

Sounds to me like you would benefit more from a maggy kit, this is coming from a procharger guy lol.. To get the most potential from a PC you will want to run a decent converter and gears.. Neither kit will have belt slipping issues at that kind of boost.

Get yourself a MagnaCharger. You'll be happy.

Maggie is going to be a little more cost. But prolly the best for towing though. I have a procharger and run 8 lbs... I use my truck for towing and its my daily driver and I love my procharger! Either way is going to be awesome.
